Pamela & Michael founded FoodDays in 2003 when Pamela decided that Michael should 'Just put this order form on a web page'.

Michael, keen to impress Pamela said, 'Sure, it won't take long...'

Fast forward to 2022 and we're growing! Along came Annie and Fayge to join the leadership team and take us to the next level.

Where it all started

In 2003 FoodDays was just a helpful website to collect orders for the local PTOs. As an after-school project, it grew and grew. Always focused on helping the fundraising efforts of the PTO volunteers – the real humans!

FoodDays History

myFoodDays started life in 2003 as a one-school-one-page website project for Warren Middle School in Warren, NJ to alleviate the pressure on the PTO Food Day chairs. This pressure was preventing the Food Days program from running - the supply of volunteers was drying up as the workload and time commitments escalated and of course, as a result, the money raised was diminishing. Over the last 17 years myFoodDays has grown and adapted, adding features and tools to help schools and PTO/A's make the best out of their fundraising efforts. We looked a little different in 2003.

Pamela's experience began in child care services running the operations for a Day Care Nursery in the UK. In the US, Pamela took on the role of President of the Parent Teachers Organization at the local Elementary School, before hitting on the idea of automating the Food Day program. FoodDays was born out of that idea. Today Pamela runs the day-to-day operations including supporting the Administrators, Parents and the product development process.

Michael's technology experience spans 35 years including 15 years in Financial Services, high-speed transaction processing systems, where security, speed and reliability are paramount when developing and managing the systems responsible for trading more that $16B each day. Today Michael develops and supports the software and systems behind myFoodDays.

Pamela and Michael, After School

After school Pamela & Michael, are serious 'Greeenies' devoting a lot of time to writing about & promoting the adoption of electric vehicles. Something of a passion, they've both served as President and Vice President of the New Jersey Chapter of the Electric Auto Association, and as President of the national, not-for-profit, action group PlugInAmerica.org. Pamela and Michael decided to "walk-the-walk" in 2010 & since then their home fleet has been all electric, their pro-ev antics have been featured on TV shows, news sites, blogs and podcasts as well as being featured by automakers Tesla and BMW.

A New Era

With everything buzzing along, we wanted to grow and it turned out that two friends from Yeshiva of Flatbush thought the same.

Annie & Fayge were keen to find some way to take the experience that they'd gained from running the Yeshiva of Flatbush to more schools.

They joined us and FoodDays+ was created – Our 100% fully managed program.

Annie’s 15+ years of school based nutrition experience has given her a keen insight into the likes of students and the preferences of parents.

This acquired understanding of the nutritional needs of children coupled with their need for fun and tasty meals has allowed her to concentrate her efforts in making school meals enjoyable.

Her philosophy that school lunch is an integral part of a child’s learning experience has allowed her to develop high quality menus while always concentrating on the preferences of a child’s delicate palate.

Today, Annie brings this philosophy to FoodDays+, always living by the mantra “Great lunch is a great responsibility”.

Finance Director

Fay-Elisa or 'Fayge' to her friends has over 20 years experience making school lunch programs that succeed.

In her children's private school Fayge created a workable program with FoodDays; one that caters to each school's unique needs.

Since 2002 Fayge has managed a Brooklyn based physical therapy office, and in the last 10 years has also been a financial consultant for start up businesses, including a culinary school, a wholesale watch enterprise, and most recently SLSHology.

Fayge brings to us her organizational skills and her experience working with the system from the perspective of parent, school, and vendor; and draws on all three to ensure a positive experience for all parties.
